Malegaon Superboys is a film based on the life of Naseer Sheikh, an amateur filmmaker from Malegaon. Residents of the city rely on the Bollywood cinema to get a much-needed break from the daily routine. The people of Malegaon inspire Naseer to make a film for the people of Malegaon. He unites his motley group of friends to make his dream come true, thereby bringing new life to the city. This film is a poignant but heartwarming look at filmmaking and friendship, and what happens when these two worlds collide.
